Sand sheet between
Timsah and Tazerbo oases
- The eastern Sahara is one of the driest places on Earth. It rains
only few times during a human generation. Lack of moisture enables surface
to reach unbelievable temperatures. Then the surface heats up air. This
creates furnace like environment and virtually not a single cloud to
give some shade. On a sand sheet like above there is nowhere to hide
from the sun. The only shelter was inside our cars.
